| The morning started as a typical hot and humid morning but quickly cleared up and turned into another great day and evening. A larger crowd than expected showed up with more kids and younger children than usual... which was great. Chef Duane's culinary skills were at its best and as always the food was devoured in minutes. Rick took a few minutes from "blowing things up" and offered a few specialty items too as well as helping Cheri with a not so healthy Sunday breakfast. We had a number of new friends out this time including Donna Lind with her friends and family. Donna, being the professional photographer, shared a number of these images with us. It was great to see the Tee-Pee out! The whole gathering seemed like a family reunion - but one of those that you actually had fun at and only the fun relatives showed up. The band, Flood Water Brown, was comprised of some really talented young locals, featuring blues style music. They really completed the evening.- Thanks guys. I know everyone liked you because I noticed the tip jar was really getting full. One last note, we had to take the street lights down, we noticed too many of the Brown Kin hanging out under the them. This isn't Western Hills. It's ok if they do the cookin' though... |
